Our Bodies & Other Shames is a coming-of-age dramedy with a touch of magical realism: three estranged childhood friends from a close-knit Jewish community in Brooklyn reunite for a sleepover, only to be confronted — quite literally — by their younger selves. As whisky flows and secrets surface, nostalgia gives way to reckoning. At its core, it’s a story about the messiness of growing up, loss, and forgiveness.
The film stars Gideon Adlon, Micaela Diamond, Alysia Reiner, and Malka. It won the 2025 ScreenCraft Film Fund, was the recipient of the Cinestory Underrepresented Voices scholarship, and was a semifinalist with the Sundance Feature Development Lab. Our Bodies & Other Shames is also a TV pilot.
